This project involved designing an interactive 3D carousel slider to showcase four unique flavors of Sparkle Tonic, a vibrant sparkling water brand. To create a visually captivating experience, I used AI generative image technology to produce custom, dynamic graphics for each flavor. The goal was to craft a playful yet immersive interface that would both engage users and highlight the distinct personality of each flavor.

One of the Key Features and central innovations of this project was using AI generative technology to produce visually distinct backgrounds for each flavor. The AI-generated abstract designs represent the essence of Sparkle Tonic’s flavors — Strawberry Burst, Dragonfruit Dream, Peachy, and Blood Orange — creating a more memorable and visually stimulating experience for users.

The core seamless 3D interaction revolves around a carousel that allows users to explore the different flavors in a fluid, interactive manner. The design encourages users to engage with the product lineup while offering a smooth, immersive browsing experience.

Clear and strategically placed call-to-action buttons drive user interaction, making it easy to explore more product details or proceed directly to purchase. This balances brand storytelling with conversion goals.

I ensured that the consistent visual design adhered to the established brand guidelines while introducing modern design elements. The typography and color choices complement the AI-generated visuals, bringing a cohesive yet fresh visual identity to life.

For the typography I selected Futura PT for headers and Windsor Ultra Heavy for flavor names to evoke a sense of playfulness and modernity, while still maintaining a bold and clear visual hierarchy.

The color palette consists of both rich, earthy tones and bright, vibrant accents. This combination helps to reinforce the personality of each flavor while maintaining overall brand consistency. The result is a visual system that feels both bold and approachable, aligning perfectly with the brand’s adventurous spirit.

My Design process began with in-depth research into market competitors and a deep dive into modern UI/UX trends. I focused on how I could differentiate the user experience through innovative design and interactions, while still adhering to best practices for usability and accessibility.

To bring each flavor to life visually, I tapped into AI generative tools, allowing for limitless exploration of abstract imagery that reflects the taste and mood of each flavor. This approach not only enhanced the aesthetic appeal but also introduced a unique visual element that would be time consuming to achieve through traditional design techniques.

The 3D carousel interaction was prototyped to offer a seamless and engaging user journey. As users rotate through the carousel, they are drawn into the brand’s bold world, with smooth transitions that maintain momentum and visual interest. I conducted usability testing to ensure the 3D interactions were intuitive and accessible.

Utilizing a robust visual typographic hierarchy, with Futura PT and Windsor Ultra Heavy, I balanced playful elements with strong readability. The earthy yet vibrant color palette reflects the natural yet adventurous spirit of the brand while providing enough contrast for a clear, engaging user interface.

The final design effectively integrates AI-generated imagery with interactive UI components to create a visually engaging user experience. The 3D carousel not only serves as a product showcase but also acts as an immersive brand storytelling tool, inviting users to explore Sparkle Tonic’s bold and unique flavors in an innovative way.
